Visit the beautiful Phoenix Zoo, home to over 1,200 animals. Centrally located in the Phoenix metro area, the Phoenix Zoo offers an exciting array of animal exhibits, unique special events, educational programs and outdoor recreational activities for people of all ages. The spectacular surroundings make it an ideal setting for professional meetings, memorable dinner/receptions, weddings and more. The Phoenix Zoo is open everyday, rain or shine, except December 25. Come to Phoenix Zoo where there's something for everyone.

      05/04/12- 05/27/12	Breakfast with the Incredible Elephants The Phoenix Zoo Breakfast with the Incredible Elephants Presented by The Phoenix Zoo at The Phoenix Zoo May 4-May 27, 2012 This program focuses on elephants this month - Learn how elephants use their trunks, what an elephant likes to eat, and much, much more! After breakfast and activities, assist keepers in their daily enrichment by hiding "elephant cookies" in the elephant yard. Then everyone will watch as the elephants search for the hidden treats and learn about the elephants from one of the elephant keepers!

      09/24/11- Ongoing	Baby Komodo Dragon Exhibit The Phoenix Zoo Baby Komodo Dragon Exhibit Presented by The Phoenix Zoo at The Phoenix Zoo September 24, 2011 - Ongoing Eight new Komodo dragon babies just arrived (on loan from the Los Angeles Zoo) and are on display at the Phoenix Zoo's Bush House for the next several months. The babies, four males and four females, who hatched between August 6 to 11, currently weigh approximately five ounces each. All eight babies are from the same clutch of eggs. There were 14 eggs total.

      Prowl and Play The Phoenix Zoo Prowl and Play Presented by The Phoenix Zoo at The Phoenix Zoo June 9, 2012 As the sun sets over the Valley, Prowl and Play will give visitors the opportunity to spend a fun, unique, and memorable evening at the Phoenix Zoo. Guests will enjoy animal meet and greets, cool off at Yakulla Caverns and Leapin' Lagoon water play areas, or get soaked at the Squirt Gun Water Wars! They can also enjoy a Giraffe Encounter, Safari Train rides, camel and carousel rides, and experience Stingray Bay.
