About the artist:

International renowned “Yellow Bird Indian Dancers” under the direction of Ken Duncan, member of the Apache Tribe specialize in presentations that celebrate the unique spirit of Arizona. Yellow Bird is a professional dance company with more than 25 years of experience in corporate entertainment. Yellow Bird includes World Champion Hoop Dancers and a former “Miss Indian World”. They are the only Native American dance group to be honored with the Governors' "Culture Keepers of Arizona Award.” They have been invited twice to perform for former First Lady Laura Bush. They entertained the President of China at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Yellow Bird performed at the National Museum of the American Indian in New York and in Washington D.C. They were selected to provide entertainment for our Peace Keeping Forces and Allies in November 2009, at a NATO Military Base in Kosovo. Yellow Bird has toured, at the request of the U.S. State Department on four tours to U.S. Embassies/Consulates in Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Central America. Most recently in 2010 they returned for a tenth year to an international world festival in northern Italy. During the summer of 2010 they also performed in the Middle East, sponsored by the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The fall of 2010 they toured Colombia sponsor by the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia.
