About the artist: Mark Broadley joined the Equity Membership Candidate Program after appearing with Alec Baldwin in "A Study in Scarlet" at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He has a BA in Theatre from the University of Arizona and has also trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. A busy performer around town, Mark has been seen at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts as Master of Ceremonies for the "Sing-a-Long Sound of Music" as well as in Arizona Theatre Company's "The Recipe Man." Other local appearances include "The Laramie Project" for Do Good Theatre, the BookPALS production of "The Polar Express," "And Then There Were None" for Central Community Theatre, "Much Ado About Nothing," "Macbeth," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Marat/Sade," for The Shakespeare Theatre, and Theater In My Basement's "911: Operation My Big Hands."
A nominee for the Governor's Volunteer Service Award, Mark is also a writer and his play "Something Happened" was produced by My Home Theatre Company.
Equally at home backstage as on, he spent the 2000-2001 Season on Phoenix Theatre's Auxiliary Board and also worked on the running crew for "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and "Chicago."
Film appearances include "Hate," "Unmanageable," and "Take Out."
