About the artist: Ethel Harris, pianist, received her bachelor‘s and master’s degrees from Northwestern University and has experience with all facets of musical education, as well as piano performance. She studied piano with Vitya Vronsky Babin, Harold Zabrack, Wanda Paul, Louis Crowder, Eugene Pridonoff and James Ruccolo. She has performed as a soloist, with chamber music groups, choral and orchestral organizations and has taught piano and vocal music in schools and private studios in four states. She served on the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Chamber Music Society for many years, and she is a charter member of the Alliance Française Chorale of Greater Phoenix. She is the pianist for The Tremble Clefs, a choral group made up of persons living with Parkinson’s disease, the Musica Nova Symphony Orchestra, a professional orchestra formed in 2003 of more than sixty musicians based in Northeast Maricopa County, and the LUMIÈRE DUO, a chamber duo consisting of Celinda Anne Levno, flute, and Ethel Harris, piano.
