Scottsdale Sweet Adelines/Scottsdale Chorus

The Scottsdale Chorus, made up of 100+ multi-talented singers from various parts of the valley and beyond, has captured the Sweet Adeline International title three times, most recently in October, 2005, as they dazzled the judges and an audience of over 10,000 of their peers on the stage in Detroit to capture the 2006 International Champion Chorus title. There are over 700 Sweet Adeline choruses worldwide and Scottsdale Chorus has never placed lower than third in their 45 year history!

This dynamic group never fails to thrill their audiences with their stirring renditions of toe tapping, standing ovation up-tunes and heart swelling, moving ballads. And, just to keep things lively and interesting, they dance too! The chorus is under the direction of the talented, energetic and entertaining Master Director, Lori Lyford, who is on the Sweet Adeline International Faculty and also teaches band at a local elementary school.
