Spirit of Phoenix Chorus

The Spirit of Phoenix Chorus is the primary performing group of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and has been an institution in the Phoenix, Arizona (USA) area for over sixty years. Chartered in 1943, they have, like the Phoenix of mythology, risen to become one of the premier performing organizations in the Society, have captured the title of International Chorus Champion - the highest achievement in the Society - three times, and have earned 14 medals in international competition, making them one of the most decorated choruses in Society history.

While continually developing musical excellence, the chorus is also deeply dedicated to preserving the Arts for future generations, and is engaged in youth outreach programs throughout the community to promote singing in area schools. The Spirit of Phoenix Chorus takes great pride in presenting quality entertainment suitable for the entire family, featuring guest artists from the local, regional, national and international levels in performance with the chorus. With musical selections ranging from beautiful ballads to lavish, fully choreographed production numbers, the Spirit of Phoenix truly lives up to its reputation as "Arizona's Premier Show Chorus."
