Comment on Facebook The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation was established in 1940 as the repository of the life work of Frank Lloyd Wright. The Foundation maintains its international headquarters at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is committed to advancing the ideas and principles of organic architecture, organic education, and conservation of the natural environment. The Foundation also seeks to preserve and enhance the lifetime contributions and ideas of Frank Lloyd Wright, and make available to the public opportunities to study and experience organic architecture.

Knowledgeable guides explain how the site relates to the desert and provide a general overview of Wright's basic theories of design, history of the site and activities of Taliesin Fellowship community life.

The newly restored living quarters and the dramatic Taliesin West living room (called the "Garden Room" by Wright) are the highlights of this tour, which also includes all the elements of the Panorama Tour. The Creative Architecture for Juniors tour is designed to introduce young people to the importance of architecture, the roles of an architect, and how shapes, colors and patterns of nature were used by Wright in his designs. Night Lights on the Desert Tour

On this twilight tour, the buildings, lit from within, appear as sculptures, the fire-breathing dragon is lit, and the lights from the valley below create a dramatic, romantic setting. The tour includes everything on the Insights Tour plus light refreshments. Reservations are requested but not required. Call (480) 860-2700.
Important Information: Taliesin West is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday during July and August.
