The mission of the East Valley Children's Theatre is to provide the youth of the East Valley with the opportunity to participate in community-based quality theatre events for the purpose of developing and enhancing confidence, individual creativity and self esteem. They are dedicated to the development of performers, crews and audiences.

    The Story of Hansel and Gretel Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse The Story of Hansel and Gretel Presented by East Valley Children's Theatre at Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse June 14-June 24, 2012 Times are tough for the people of the village, so Hansel and Gretel are sent into the woods to gather berries. They get lost in the forest where they meet up with a number of peculiar characters. A fiery troll who guards his little wooden bridge from all who attempt to cross over it, and an articulate owl, giving advice to anyone who will listen. They are misdirected by a forest sprite, and two hobgoblins, in the service of an evil (but extremely funny) witch, meet them at every turn to guide...
