Not your typical Museum, here we want you to touch everything! Acting on the principle that learning is a joy, the Children's Museum of Phoenix's mission is to engage the minds, muscles and imaginations of children and the grown-ups who care about them. With over a dozen exhibit areas, and 300+ hands-on experiences, this Museum provides hours of educational fun for children birth to 10.

    11/25/11- Ongoing	Someplace Children's Museum of Phoenix Someplace Presented by Children's Museum of Phoenix at Children's Museum of Phoenix November 25, 2011 - Ongoing Someplace where make-believe creations reside, is scheduled to open to the general public last November 25 at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. This is the Museum's first new exhibit opening since the grand opening of their one-of-a-kind climbing structure, the Schuff-Perini Climber, in May, 2010. The exhibit is created by the Museum's artist-in-residence Pete Goldsmith and the Museum's Exhibits Team. The artist-in residence program is made possible through grants received...

Event Rating (3.2 Stars): The Children's Museum of Phoenix will open its most amazing exhibit ever: The Schuff-Perini Climber, a 37 foot tall, 50 ton, jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring, nothing-like-it-anywhere-else-in-the-world climbing structure. This active, inventive zone highlights one of those favorite childhood activities that we all remember - building forts! Using everyday items like blankets, pillows, crates, pool noodles, and foam planks, children create all sorts of nooks, crannies and secret places: from small snug hiding spots, to large, long, tunnels.
