Cantemus

Cantemus (Latin for "let us sing"), the Valley's premiere chamber chorale, is devoted to the performance of small-ensemble sacred and secular works of all eras, with and without instrumental accompaniment. The singers of Cantemus are dedicated to performing masterworks of choral music of all eras and cultures and operates as both a voluntary chorus and a club. The 50-voice choir, directed by Dr. Mark Francis, was founded in 1988 by Daniel Durand, who was succeeded by Darrell Rowader, Victor Weber and Scott Alan Youngs. Cantemus performs with orchestra ensembles and offers repertoire ranging from works by Bach, Brahms, Bruckner, Mendelssohn, Monteverdi, Mozart and many others.
