The Arizona Museum of Natural History is the premier natural history museum in Arizona. It is dedicated to inspire wonder, respect and understanding for the natural and cultural history of the Southwest. Explore Arizona and the Southwest from the creation of the earth 4.5 billion years ago to the present. See the origins of life on earth, meteorites and minerals. In Dinosaur Hall, discover some of the biggest dinosaurs that ever lived, and on Dinosaur Mountain see how some appeared and sounded in a natural context. In a Walk through Time, explore ancient Arizona's Paleozoic Seas, Triassic Petrified Forest, monsters of the Cretaceous Seas, and the first animals to fly.

    Origins: Arizona Through Time Arizona Museum of Natural History Origins: Arizona Through Time Presented by Arizona Museum of Natural History at Arizona Museum of Natural History August 1, 2010 - Ongoing Origins, the new permanent exhibition at the Arizona Museum of Natural History, is a spectacular time line of the universe. From the Big Bang to our earliest ancestors, Origins features maps of the changing continents, stunning images of galaxies, and photographs of Arizona landscapes that together span 13 billion years of cosmic history.     Prehistoric Preschool Arizona Museum of Natural History Prehistoric Preschool Presented by Arizona Museum of Natural History at Arizona Museum of Natural History June 4-June 25, 2012 This fun filled morning camp is designed for children ages 4 and 5. Each thematic morning includes creative movement, crafts, and a special interactive learning circle. Schedule of topics: June 4 -Dinosaurs, June 11 -Desert Life, June 18 -Pterosaurs, June 25 -Native Peoples.

    Rulers of the Prehistoric Land, Sea, and Sky Arizona Museum of Natural History Rulers of the Prehistoric Land, Sea, and Sky Presented by Arizona Museum of Natural History at Arizona Museum of Natural History July 9-July 12, 2012 This is a 4 consecutive day camp that will be held in two sessions each day. Subject will include an overview of paleontology, a visit to the paleo lab to meet a paleontologist and find out what they do, and what we can learn from fossil, dinosaurs, prehistoric sea creatures and pterosaurs.
