Actors Theatre

Actors Theatre was formed in 1986 by a group of Phoenix-based actors, directors and teachers who wished to see their home community become a place where excellent theatre could flourish and where professional theatre artists could live and work. Its original bylaws described a theatre company whose main ambition was to perform plays which would be emotionally stirring, intellectually significant and joyfully entertaining - dealing with subjects relevant to the modern world and peopled with characters whose goals and ambitions were both recognizable and relevant to their audience.

Actors Theatre presents passionate, thought-provoking theatre designed to add to the social dialogue of the community.

    Wallace and ladmo Herberger Theater Center Wallace and ladmo Presented by Actors Theatre at Herberger Theater Center June 1-June 17, 2012 In 1964 mock-rock band Hub Kapp (Pat McMahon) and The Wheels premiered on The Wallace & Ladmo Show - an iconic children's television show that ran in Arizona for 35 years. The band became an over-night sensation. So big, it threatened to destroy the kid's show that launched it.
