A Ludwig Dance Theatre

Organized in 1977, A Ludwig Dance Theatre moved to Tempe in 1979 and began its ongoing involvement with the Arizona community. Over the past twenty-five years, the Company has performed in cities and towns throughout the state, in California, Nevada, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Oregon, Louisiana and Germany, as well as a three-month teaching and performing residency in Portugal under the sponsorship of the United States Embassy in Lisbon. A Ludwig Dance Theatre has collaborated with artists, composers, symphonies, actors, writers, costume artists, musicians, and dancers of all genres and of all ages, sculptors, performance artists, and even a master chef.
