Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship, an exhibition from National Geographic, locally sponsored by The Arizona Republic and media partner Cox, takes visitors on an amazing voyage. Legendary pirate Sam Bellamy and his crew tell the true story of the Whydah, from her historic transformation from slave ship to pirate ship to her final resting place on the ocean floor. Dive into this immersive exhibition of real pirate artifacts discovered by intrepid diver Barry Clifford who has dedicated years of his life to recovering the artifacts of the Whydah. Explore the lives of 18th century pirates and experience their treasures - from jewelry, coins and gold to cannons, pistols and knives. The treasures and stories of the Whydah re-surface in Real Pirates at Arizona Science Center!
