A Christmas Story is an affectionate, wacky, and wryly realistic portrayal of an American Family's typical Christmas joys and travails in small-town Depression-era Indiana. The play, made into one of the most-watched Christmas films of our time, is based on the autobiographical stories of Jean Shepherd growing up in Indiana.
