Adults' Night Out: New Concepts in Fire Investigation
July 1, 2011
The science of fire investigation has evolved to a new concept over the last 30 years that now allows fire investigators to get a better understanding of burn patterns, collection of evidence and detection of arson cases. A fire department responds to a fire in the United States every 22 seconds. Pat Andler will show test fires conducted to better trained fire investigators and will also demonstrate how a certified accelerant dog uses these tools to detect arrest and convict arsonists.
