Our brave Americans on land, sea, and in the air are the true stars of this soulful tribute to our Armed Forces. Marches by John Philip Sousa and Henry Fillmore lead the parade, and Copland's Outdoor Overture will have you seeing vivid images of our homeland. Morton Gould's classic interpretation of When Johnny Comes Marching Home serves as the musical artillery and puts the finishing touches on this moving program. As always, we'll honor those serving our country with the Armed Forces Salute and close out the concert with our national march, The Stars and Stripes Forever. It's a tribute filled with flag-waving fun!
