Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's landmark novella, Actor's Youth Theatre's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde tells the story of a man horrified by his own dark side. The good Dr. Jekyll just wanted to create a potion that would suppress the part of him that is filled with envy and hate. He never intended to create a monster of pure evil, a creature of depraved desires, but that is exactly what he does: and now the body count is rising! Can Dr. Jekyll save himself and those he loves? Does he even want to?
