You can't accuse Michael Marlowe of thinking small. Indeed, he may be one of the few Valley painters remaining who continues to create work on a massive, room-filling, sensory overload scale.

Though well known to many in the Arizona art scene, Marlowe's last Arizona show was back in 1993. His current work is a dramatic and fantastic departure from the floating houses and drums, giant cones and more literal, figurative work of the past. And the pieces are huge.

XXL: New Works by Michael Marlowe, explores an extraordinary terrain where organic forms, inside out appendages, and other-worldly structures interconnect.

There will also be a special 3rd Friday reception, March from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and is open for Art Detour 23 Weekend on Sat, March 19 from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, March 20 from noon to 5:00pm.
