"Being young and queer, I searched for a history that spoke to me - included me." A 1954 diary that belonged to a grandfather she never met serves as the inspiration and background of the photographs from Kris Sanford's latest series, Between the Lines. Though they are works of fiction, the sampled images and pages hold the truth of the search for lost stories of life, family, and love. Join Practical Art for an evening reception on Friday, January 14, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Refreshments will be served, free and open to the public, no RSVPs necessary. The show will be on display the entire month of January.
