Body Worlds and the Brains
January 22-May 30, 2011
In this all new exhibition by anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, visitors gain a unique view of the brain- our body's three pound gem. Learn more about this vital organ and its continuing transformation throughout our lives. This limited engagement exhibition features more than 200 specimens, including entire bodies, individual organs and transparent body slices that have been preserved through the process of Plastination. Body Worlds offers an once-in-a-lifetime chance to see and understand our own physiology and health, and to gain a new appreciation and respect for what it means to be human.
