Stripped of any distinguishable representation, Tyson Crosbie's photographs become reminiscent of very textural abstract paintings, yet they are still able to invoke the strongest connotation of the craft: the suggestion of truth. These documents of time and place posit that the "why" of the photograph is more important than the "what."

The show will be on display the entire month of August. Join Practical Art for the reception on August 6, Friday at 7:00pm.
