The Tears of Lives
March 25, 2010
Regino Ortega, an undocumented immigrant, has been living in the United States for 21 years when he’s arrested by immigration agents and Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputies. His three young children are left behind and forced to fend for themselves. The Tears of Lives is a drama torn from today’s headlines that recounts the tragedy of families ripped apart as a consequence of the nation’s latest, wide-scale crackdown on immigrants. Written by James E. Garcia and directed by Luis Avila.
