Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present a recital by violinist, Leila Josefowicz and pianist, John Novacek in its new, state-of-the-art Virginia G. Piper Theater. Since her Carnegie Hall debut at age 16, Leila Josefowicz has won the hearts of audiences around the world with her honest, fresh approach to the repertoire and her dynamic virtuosity. In addition to receiving the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1994, she was awarded a 2008 'genius grant' from the MacArthur Foundation in recognition of her passionate advocacy and commitment to the music of today.
