Nearly 3 dozen striking works of art from across the African continent will be shown at After Hours Gallery. The show, entitled MASKS, is indeed predominantly a beautiful presentation of hand-carved ceremonial masks. In addition, there are two massive carved sculptures towering nearly 8 feet high. The exhibition is rounded out by two utterly creepy, standing fetishes ? wood sculptures with purported supernatural powers. Most of the pieces in the show are reportedly around 100 years old.
