Wire sculpture and jewelry artist Joyce White will conduct a demonstration of the technique she uses to "knit" gold and silver wire to produce beautiful woven wire necklace chains. Adapted from "Viking Knitting" - this craft technique was developed hundreds of years ago, and actually pre-dates knitting with fibers! Multi-talented Joyce White also makes amazing fused glass pendants, which she then meticulously wire-wraps with gold or silver, to finish off her stunning, award-winning sculptural jewelry.
